Networking & Leadership
Connecting through Service
In April 2022, Rotary District 7980 located in the Southern half of Connecticut, in partnership with its neighboring northern District 7890, will embark together on a statewide Connecticut Day of Service. The leadership activity will bring together over 110 Rotary Clubs and more than 5,000 Rotarians. Each Rotary Club will create and execute a service project that will make a difference in their community.
Rotary leaders across the state have been asked to imagine exciting projects and to dream big. This is the power of Rotary. Rotarians are People of Action coming together to make good in the world.
This is an unprecedented opportunity for Rotary and the community to work together where upwards of 5,000 Rotarians and friends throughout Connecticut will work on a project that exemplifies who we are as Rotarians. The projects are just now being imagined, but the impact will be expansive and resounding.
The story of this effort is one of service and leadership. It’s a story about answering the call, working together, and saving lives. It is the story, in short, of Rotary.
