This most recent 7.2 magnitude earthquake has brought extreme pain to an already ravaged country where its people and its government are in political turmoil. Now, with more than 1,400 lost and over 6,000 injured, compounded by the start of the fall tropical storm season, loss of electricity, lack of shelter, and extreme shortages of food and supplies, Haiti is in dire need of massive assistance. Now more than ever!

Our Rotary District has always been there to elevate and support the Haitian community. And, today we once again raise our unified voice and bring together our community of business leaders and community philanthropists throughout our southern Connecticut District in support of Haiti during this extremely difficult time.
