Global Grants

Rotary members contribute their skills, expertise, and resources to help solve some of the world’s toughest problems. From providing clean water to promoting peace worldwide, Rotary Foundation grants bring service project ideas to life.

Rotary’s work globally is at the center of its mission. District 7980 is no stranger to delivering international impact through a wide array of global grant programs it delivers on an annual basis.

These grants have enormous impacts around the world. From boring freshwater wells in Uganda, building new schools and libraries to educate children in India, to providing the gift of life for children in need of heart surgery in the Dominican Republic.

These are just a few of the programs the District and its Clubs have facilitated. Though, one of the most profound projects of our District and one that is near and dear to District Governor Jeff Krause is the Gift of Life Program. The following will provide an overview of the program, its impact, and the depth and breadth of the heart it brings to those children it touches.
