Rotary’s work globally is at the center of its mission. District 7980 is no stranger to delivering international impact through a wide array of global grant programs it delivers on an annual basis.

These grants have enormous impacts around the world. From boring freshwater wells in Uganda, building new schools and libraries to educate children in India, to providing the gift of life for children in need of heart surgery in the Dominican Republic, and delivering pandemic support to Cox’s Bazar, the world’s largest refugee camp with over 1 million people fighting the Covid outbreak in Bangladesh. These are just a few of the programs the District and its Clubs have facilitated.

The Yale Rotaract Club entered into a Global Grant to deliver PPE and COVID Testing kits to aid first responders in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
