The Donald A. Adams Outstanding Rotarian Award

Donald A. Adams was a Past District Governor (1922-23) from the New Haven Rotary Club. He became the 15th President of Rotary International in 1925-26. The District created this award in his honor in 1975 to recognize one outstanding Rotarian from a club in our District, who is not a Past District Governor, who best represents all-around contributions to the Five Avenues of Rotary Service. Consideration is given to the candidate’s exceptional service to both his or her club and the District. Each club in the District may nominate a candidate from their club by submitting this form to the selection committee no later than April 1, 2025. The Outstanding Rotarian for the Year Award is selected by a committee, consisting of the five most recent recipients, able to serve.

The most senior recipient serves as Chair of the selection committee. This year, the Chair of the Donald A. Adams 2025 Outstanding Rotarian Award Committee is Kevin Reich, Rotary Club of East Hampton. The award will be presented at the District Conference.
