RI Director Zones 24 and 32
Michael Colasurdo, Sr.
Michael was born and raised in Jerey City, NJ and graduated from NJ City University with a BA in Political Science. As a youth, he danced on Dick Clark's American Bandstand in Pennsylvania. He began his teaching career in Woodbridge, NJ where he taught American History. Michael eventually became a self-employed businessman. He and his wife, Ann, and their sons are the owners of Mulberry St. Italian Food Centers, a specialty food center in Ocean County, New Jersey.
A member of the Rotary Club of Brick Township, and its President in 1993-94, he served as District Governor in 1997-98; then as District Trainer for four years. Michael served as faculty member of several Zone Institutes, was Regional Vice Chair of the Rotary Leadership Institute and his District's Representative to the Council on Legislation in 2001, 2004 and 2007. He has served numerous leadership roles for Zone 32 and as General Chair of the Zone Institute for 2004 in MD. He has been an RI Presidents Rep for three Presidents and is a Charter Member of the RI Bequest Society.
Michael and Ann have three sons, all Rotarians. His entire family are Paul Harris Fellows.
