Edward Davies, Assistant Governor Area 5
(Devon, Milford, Orange, Stratford)
Ed has been a member of the Bridgeport Rotary Club since 1998, serving as President in 2002-03.  Very active in club and community service, was the 2005-08 District Club Service Director and has been involved with several District Conference committees.  A retired warden, Ed is the Executive Director of Isaiah 61:1, Inc., a nonprofit agency that provides residential reentry programming for men and women leaving prison.  He is an active community volunteer, assists the American Red Cross, Bridgeport School Volunteer Association and is also a "Big Brother."  He and his wife, Candace, live in Milford.


Kanayo (Rupi) Rupwani, Assistant Governor Area 6
(Ansonia, Derby/Shelton, Naugatuck, Seymour/Oxford, Waterbury, Tri-bury)
Kanayo Rupwani, known as Rupi, is a member of the Naugatuck Rotary Club and served as President in 2005–06, GSE Team Leader to RI District 3080 in India and in 2005 became Chairperson of the GSE Outbound team.  Born in Sindh, British India, Rupi migrated with his family to Jodhpur, Rajasthan India in 1947 because of the partition of the country.  Jodhpur Rotary built a children’s park so they could play cricket.  Rupi is a Realtor and founder of Rupwani Association in Naugatuck and Seymour.  He has served as the Chairperson of CT Association of Realtors Legislative & Political Affairs Committee and was named Realtor of the year for Valley Association of Realtors three times.  Rupi resides with his wife Pat in Naugatuck. They have two sons, Mark and Nicholas.


Paul Mangels, Assistant Governor Area 7
(Hamden, New Haven, North Haven, West Haven, Woodbridge)
Paul is a member of the Milford Rotary Club, serving as President in 2006–07.  He has been awarded numerous “Service above Self” awards and is a Paul Harris Fellow.  Mangels was born in Illinois in 1959.  Five years after receiving a UConn Bachelor of Science degree in finance, he opened his first business, CT Engravers, in Bridgeport in 1986.  In 2002 he opened H. Mangels Confectioner and has been managing both businesses since that time.  A member of Milford St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, he has served in various leadership positions including Senior Warden and Vestry member.  Paul resides in Milford with his wife Marcy and their son Jeffrey.


Chip Marsh, Assistant Governor Area 8
(Branford, Clinton, East Haven, Guilford, Madison, North Branford)
Chip is a member of the Rotary Club of Branford and served as its 2004–05 President.  A Paul Harris Fellow, he chaired their Community Events Sign project, edited his Club’s 75th Anniversary Supplement; served on several club committees and chaired the District Water, Health & Hunger Resource Group from 2005–07.  Chip, a Certified Association Executive, is Director of Membership for Wire Association International.  He is past president of the CT Society of Association Executives and serves on the Community Dining Room and Killam’s Point Conference Center boards.  He graduated from the University of Georgia.  He and his wife, Susanne, live in Branford with their labradoodle, Sidney.
